Los Altos

| Located in the northern end of Santa Clara County and about 15 minutes south of Palo Alto and Stanford University, Los Altos enjoys a charming and busy downtown area; many nearby neighborhoods enjoy that they are "within walking distance of The Village", the downtown shops and restaurants serving Los Altos. Many of the residential properties are lots of one-quarter acre or more and the public school rankings in Los Altos are exceptional. There are many parks in Los Altos, many youth activities and a yearly Festival of Lights Parade as well as an annual Pet Parade downtown. Not far from the southern end of San Francisco Bay, temperatures in Los Altos are mild with the wintertime averages around 58-60 degrees and summertime averages often hovering around 75-80 degrees. The elementary school and middle school districts include the Los Altos School District and the Cupertino Union School District. The high school district includes The Mountain View/Los Altos Union High School District and the Fremont Union High School District.
